First listed in the city deed books in 1940, Colonial Village is a wonderful example of a neighborhood developed during the post-World War II building boom. As Chapman Highway became an increasingly popular commercial corridor, the neighborhood developed quickly because it was convenient to this new development. Most homes were built in the 1940’s and 50’s, and their modest sizes and larger yards made them perfect for young families. Today Colonial Village is a diverse mix of many age groups, and its large trees and mountain views are beautiful year-round.
We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the Nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
