Forest Heights neighborhood is comprised of Forest Hills, Forest Heights and Highland Hills. The neighborhood is a classic example of a so-called “automobile suburb”, with somewhat curvy roads designed with the original intent of keeping the speed of cars down. Many of the oldest homes were built in the 1920’s, though many more were built in the post-World War II era. Popular home styles include Tudor Revival, Georgian and Cape Cod.
In the heart of Bearden, the neighborhood boasts easy access to a great deal of shopping, and via either Kingston Pike or Sutherland Avenue, it is a short drive or bike ride to downtown and the University.
We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the Nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
