While most of the homes in this riverside neighborhood were built in the 1940’s and 50’s, Holston Hills began to be developed starting with the construction of the Holston Hills Country Club in the mid-1920’s. The country club features a clubhouse designed by Charles Barber, founder of Barber McMurry Architects, and golf course designed by Donald Ross, a transplanted Scotsman who is considered one of the best golf course architects.
Holston Hills was the American Dream realized for many, many families after World War II. Large, beautiful homes on spacious, rolling lots and mature trees did and still do make for a pleasant drive into town.
We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the Nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
