Love trees? With not one, not two, but three boulevards, this neighborhood is practically covered by a beautiful tree canopy; traveling through North Hills is like meandering through a giant park complete with dozens of lovely perennial gardens (with an active garden club founded in 1935). Add to that some of the most diverse, beautiful housing in the city and you’ve got one of the great gems of Knoxville.
The development of North Hills began in the late 1920’s and many homes in the neighborhood are eligible to be placed on the National Register. Adding to the diversity of housing stock in the neighborhood, there are also many well-built ranch style homes constructed after World War II.
We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the Nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
