Colonial Village
First listed in the city deed books in 1940, Colonial Village is a wonderful example of a neighborhood developed during the post-World War II building boom. As Chapman Highway became an increasingly popular commercial corridor, the neighborhood developed quickly because it was convenient to this new development. Most homes were built in the 1940’s and 50’s, and are primarily of modest size with large yards. Residents enjoy mature trees and great access to bike and walking trails, and some homes have views of the Smoky Mountains!
