While homes built in the 40’s and 50’s are what this riverside neighborhood is known for, Holston Hills actually began to be developed starting with the construction of the Holston Hills Country Club in the mid-1920’s. The country club features a clubhouse designed by Charles Barber, founder of Barber McMurry Architects, and golf course designed by Donald Ross, a transplanted Scotsman who is considered one of the best golf course architects.
Holston Hills is filled with large, beautiful homes on spacious, rolling lots and mature trees that make for a pleasant drive into town.
