Parkridge
Northeast of downtown, Parkridge is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Knoxville and features some of the most beautiful architecture in the city. For anyone who appreciates the Victorian style, Parkridge is a must-see with a large selection of homes designed by one of the most popular architects of the era, George F. Barber.
One of the original streetcar suburbs, the neighborhood was and is very walkable, and downtown’s Old City is just a short walk or bike ride away. Renovation abounds and keeps this unpretentious neighborhood buzzing.
