An East TN native, Chris proudly received both his undergraduate degree in Marketing and his MBA from the University of Tennessee. He spent 20 years in sales and marketing working in the media industry for companies including: Metro Pulse, Knoxville News Sentinel, and WBIR-TV all while restoring historic homes.

Chris found his passion for historic homes when he bought and renovated his first house in 4th & Gill in 2005. This lead to his affection for the architecture, character, and craftsmanship found in historic homes. He now owns a portfolio of rentals located throughout the historic Knoxville neighborhoods and he continues to invest in the preservation of these areas. In 2019, he was awarded the 2019 Preservation Award by Knox Heritage in honor and recognition of the renovation of 723 East Scott Ave in Old North Knoxville. As a part of the First Neighborhoods Realty team, Chris enjoys combining his knowledge of historic home preservation and marketing to help his clients find their dream home or sell their property.

Chris is married to his high school sweetheart, Heather. They live in a 1920’s Craftsman in historic Parkridge that they renovated together. They are expecting their first child, Jasper, in March of 2020, and they have two energetic Boston Terrier fur babies, Hank and Dolly.

“Chris was absolutely amazing!!! He worked weekdays and weekends showing us homes, and reaching out with new homes that fit where we were looking and in our price range. He is by far the best realtor I’ve worked with and we are so thankful that he was our realtor. We plan on recommending him to anyone we know looking to buy or sell in the future!”
